Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hamza Djaout made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Ac Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhat el Ibrahimi came free, but Fergani Brahami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fawzi Nabil in the 5th minute of play forced California City's goalkeeper Tahar Bedjaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Fawzi Nabil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ac Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Fawzi Nabil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tahar Bedjaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 minutes, Abdel Karim Aliche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the California City and the Ac Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to California City getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Abdel Karim Aliche hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Hamza Djaout notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of California City's Tahar Bedjaoui. Tahar Bedjaoui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 13 minutes of play, Ac Milan's Fawzi Nabil made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tahar Bedjaoui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Menad Khalef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fergani Brahami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ac Milan's Hamza Djaout got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ac Milan's zone, Menad Khalef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fergani Brahami came out of the goal and Menad Khalef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Ac Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhat el Ibrahimi came free, but Fergani Brahami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fergani Brahami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhat el Ibrahimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes Ac Milan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mustapha Zidane who took care of the corner kick. Mounir Boufroura was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 37 minutes into the match, California City's Ferhat el Ibrahimi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fergani Brahami narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ferhat el Ibrahimi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fergani Brahami was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When Hamza Djaout came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ac Milan fans jumped to their feet. Fergani Brahami didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Menad Khalef went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. California City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Hamza Djaout scored to the left of an out of position Tahar Bedjaoui, making the score, 1-3. Ferhat el Ibrahimi might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergani Brahami. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferhat el Ibrahimi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferhat el Ibrahimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. California City's Tahar Bedjaoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save California City from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ac Milan's goalkeeper Fergani Brahami, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmed Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahar Bedjaoui having to interfere. California City's Tahar Bedjaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Cherrad in the 83rd minute of play. California City's Ferhat el Ibrahimi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ac Milan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
