After 16 played minutes Sangay got a freekick which was hit by Madjid Kerbouche. Madjid Haddou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madjid Kerbouche in the 22nd minute of the match. Madjid Haddou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madjid Kerbouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Sangay's Maamar Zidane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Madjid Haddou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Madjid Kerbouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Madjid Haddou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madjid Haddou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Madjid Kerbouche's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Sangay's goal looked a bit too open when Jussef Saïd-Guerni came free, but Smail Kafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sangay getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Karim Hamid Brahima hit a great ball.

After a defensive mix-up in Sangay's zone, Jussef Saïd-Guerni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Smail Kafi came out of the goal and Jussef Saïd-Guerni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fergani Amrouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Smail Kafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fergani Amrouche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Smail Kafi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Fergani Amrouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Smail Kafi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Madjid Haddou made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Madjid Kerbouche sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Mohammad Cherrad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Maamar Zidane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madjid Haddou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jussef Saïd-Guerni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Smail Kafi having to interfere. Cheb Guendouz's late challenge caught a Lacombe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cheb Guendouz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sangay's Cheb Guendouz got a free kick in the 85th minute. Fergani Amrouche struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Smail Kafi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lacombe FC. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sangay were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Lacombe FC side.
