Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Salim Mouzaoui made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Mimoun Ouid Daham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mansour Schoonmaker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Abdelkader Arrache made a huge save. Hameur Rimitti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelkader Arrache having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Albany's goal looked a bit too open when Mansour Schoonmaker came free, but Abdelkader Arrache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Slimane Ibrir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slimane Ibrir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salim Mouzaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelkader Arrache having to interfere. If Mimoun Ouid Daham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelkader Arrache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salim Mouzaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Mansour Schoonmaker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Salim Mouzaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wake Forest's supporters rose to their feet, but Salim Mouzaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelkader Arrache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salim Mouzaoui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelkader Arrache having to make a save. After 45 played minutes Wake Forest got a freekick which was hit by Salim Mouzaoui. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Slimane Ibrir to strike the kick off in the second half. Albany's Mimoun Ouid Daham got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Albany's Slimane Ibrir in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wake Forest's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute, Ahmed Reda Hamdani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Slimane Ibrir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kamel Zidane. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. The supporters of Wake Forest booed when Albany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slimane Ibrir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mansour Schoonmaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Abdelkader Arrache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Albany's Slimane Ibrir ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kamel Zidane. Kamel Zidane yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Albany's Slimane Ibrir got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Slimane Ibrir lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Kamel Zidane. Mimoun Ouid Daham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Fodil Abbas from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Kamel Zidane's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Wake Forest supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Albany's performance. The match ended with a win for Albany.
