Slimane Bouazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farid Hamid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Villas FC's Sid Ahmed Mecherara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Zaoui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Faouzi Rahouli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Golden FC's Rafik Benmabrouk got a free kick in the 37th minute. Faouzi Rahouli might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Zaoui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faouzi Rahouli ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes in the game, Madhi Temmam fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Slimane Bouazza having to interfere. If Farid Hamid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Slimane Bouazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Benmabrouk, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Faouzi Rahouli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faouzi Rahouli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Zaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Slimane Bouazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafik Benmabrouk in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Golden FC's Farid Hamid got a free kick in the 69th minute. Faouzi Rahouli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sid Ahmed Mecherara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Robert Zaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Zaoui made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Sid Ahmed Mecherara sent off a good shot on target. If Sid Ahmed Mecherara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Villas FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fodil Kouidri hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Faouzi Rahouli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden FC's Robert Zaoui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sid Ahmed Mecherara struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Robert Zaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villas FC. The Villas FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
