One of Rockwood AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mountainside AFC:s goal. Kamel Madjer came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mansour Sadmi could save by the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Cheb Drioueche dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mansour Sadmi, 1-0. Abdelaziz Lelouch hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Mansour Sadmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Drioueche in the 23rd minute of play. Ismael Cohen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Firoud having to interfere. In the 27th minute Abd al-Asis Maroc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Firoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rockwood AFC booed when Mountainside AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Lelouch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Firoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd al-Asis Maroc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Mansour Sadmi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rockwood AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mountainside AFC the free kick. Abdelhamid Otman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abd al-Asis Maroc to make the kick off. With his leg Ahmed Firoud managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Rockwood AFC's Abd al-Asis Maroc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mansour Sadmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Drioueche in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mountainside AFC's Abdelaziz Lelouch got a free kick in the 58th minute. Rockwood AFC's Abd al-Asis Maroc came free and shot a quick shot against goal 71 minutes in the game, fortunately Ahmed Firoud had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Abd al-Asis Maroc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Firoud having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abd al-Asis Maroc in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmed Firoud saved Mountainside AFC from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Nasser Larbi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ahmed Firoud made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Abd al-Asis Maroc sent off a good shot on target. Abd al-Asis Maroc struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ahmed Firoud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockwood AFC. Mansour Sadmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamel Madjer in the 90th minute of the match. Abdelaziz Lelouch hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mountainside AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rockwood AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
