Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moulay Fergani in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soltani Bey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, North Chicago's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdellah Sellal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Ismael Megharia came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the North Chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Megharia couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, North Chicago's Ismael Megharia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Ben Ahmed Belloumi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th play minute Abdellah Sellal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Soltani Bey. 1-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Moulay Fergani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Ridge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moulay Fergani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, North Chicago's Soltani Bey got control of the ball when Abdellah Sellal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in East Ridge FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for North Chicago. Daniel Zahouania stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mohamed Ben Ahmed Belloumi. 1-1. Tedj Ibrir's late challenge caught a East Ridge FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tedj Ibrir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute of the match Nasser Bouzid shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Soltani Bey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Moulay Fergani made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Daniel Zahouania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Mansouri fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored East Ridge FC's protests and gave Daniel Mansouri a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Mansouri kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. East Ridge FC's Abdellah Sellal got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Sellal in the 64th minute of play forced North Chicago's goalkeeper Soltani Bey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abdellah Sellal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Megharia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Mohamed Ben Ahmed Belloumi made a huge save. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Belloumi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Megharia in the 77th minute. Daniel Mansouri got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, East Ridge FC's Daniel Mansouri got a free kick in the 79th minute. East Ridge FC's Mohamed Ben Ahmed Belloumi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Doutté in the 88th minute of play. East Ridge FC's Mohamed Ben Ahmed Belloumi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save East Ridge FC from getting a goal against them. Ismael Megharia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Belloumi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Belloumi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Doutté, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
