Soltani Bey was a little too slow when Mahmoud Brahmi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Mikul getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Daho Adjaoud hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmoud Brahmi in the 23rd minute of play forced North Chicago's goalkeeper Soltani Bey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tedj Ibrir fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Chicago's protests and gave Tedj Ibrir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, North Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tedj Ibrir to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, North Chicago's Ismael Megharia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohammad Hima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mahmoud Brahmi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Soltani Bey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Suero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Severiano Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soltani Bey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikul's attentive Abdelhamid Djamel managed to snatch the ball when Tedj Arrache made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Mikul's Mahmoud Brahmi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Soltani Bey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. North Chicago's Soltani Bey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Suero in the 62nd minute of play. Abdelhamid Djamel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Suero in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soltani Bey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikul's Mohammad Hima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Mikul from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mikul getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ismaël Azzizi-Kettab hit a great ball. Mohammad Hima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Doutté in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Tedj Ibrir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mohammad Hima, 1-4. North Chicago's Soltani Bey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahmoud Brahmi in the 91st minute of play. Ismael Megharia scored 1-5 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohammad Hima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The North Chicago supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing North Chicago would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
