The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toufik Fadela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Toufik Fadela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rensselaer's supporters rose to their feet, but Toufik Fadela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Djamel Metref breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lounès Zaoui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Djamel Metref having to make a save. Lounès Zaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Djamel Metref tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Souad Kerbouche in the 17th minute of play forced Rensselaer's goalkeeper Bouabdellah Zaaf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Souad Kerbouche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bouabdellah Zaaf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute Toufik Fadela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djamel Metref saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bouabdellah Zaaf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cherif Megharia in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Souad Kerbouche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bouabdellah Zaaf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Souad Kerbouche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bouabdellah Zaaf. Rensselaer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Souad Kerbouche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind wolfman2021's goalkeeper Djamel Metref, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Souad Kerbouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bouabdellah Zaaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rensselaer getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Youssef Abbas hit a great ball. The Rensselaer players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. wolfman2021 were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cherif Megharia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Said El-Hadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bouabdellah Zaaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Said El-Hadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bouabdellah Zaaf having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, wolfman2021's Souad Kerbouche dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Djamel Metref made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toufik Fadela in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Rensselaer getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kamel Sadmi hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, wolfman2021's goal looked a bit too open when Toufik Fadela came free, but Djamel Metref reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bouabdellah Zaaf made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Souad Kerbouche sent off a good shot on target. Souad Kerbouche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bouabdellah Zaaf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Said El-Hadi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bouabdellah Zaaf. The goal made the score 0-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched wolfman2021 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
