Hakim Medjani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohamed Hadjadj having to make a save. A collision led to Kunta Utd getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Hamid Bey hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Abdellah Harkat had to leave the field with a concussion. 27 minutes into the game, Nadir Kouri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Victory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kunta Utd the free kick. In the 28th match minute, AC Victory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Kouri to maneuver through the defense. Chih Boulmerka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billel Azem having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Chih Boulmerka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Victory's Billel Azem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Chih Boulmerka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kunta Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chih Boulmerka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kunta Utd's Chih Boulmerka got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kunta Utd's Hamid Bey got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chih Boulmerka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kunta Utd's Mohamed Hadjadj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakim Medjani in the 51st minute of play. Chih Boulmerka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billel Azem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chih Boulmerka in the 58th minute. Chih Boulmerka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billel Azem having to interfere. With his leg Billel Azem managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Kunta Utd's Chih Boulmerka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The nice shot from Chih Boulmerka in the 66thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Billel Azem had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Billel Azem made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Chih Boulmerka sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Lounès Nima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Victory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kunta Utd the free kick. In the 76th match minute, AC Victory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lounès Nima to maneuver through the defense. Hakim Medjani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hocine Cavalli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Billel Azem skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chih Boulmerka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Billel Azem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-6 became the score in the 96th minute when Chih Boulmerka elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match was over Kunta Utd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AC Victory throughout the match.
