Mohammed Lemouis short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Abderrahmane Meniri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 9th minute, Karim Nasri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 minutes, Abdelkader Yahia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Devil S. C. and the Owasso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmed Malek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Reda Hadjadj in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Owasso FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Noureddine Yahia hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Owasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammed Ahmed Soltani came free, but Ahmed Malek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Owasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Houari Cerbah to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Mohammed Lemoui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abderrahmane Meniri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Karim Nasri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Owasso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Nasri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 played minutes Owasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Noureddine Yahia. Abderrahmane Meniri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohammed Lemoui went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Karim Nasri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abderrahmane Meniri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play.
