Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Khair ad-Din Souakri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Albert Arrache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Massi having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Abdelkader Bouteflika left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Riviera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to La Riviera getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Albert Arrache hit a great ball. Hocine Massi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkader Bouteflika, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Khair ad-Din Souakri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute of the match East Chicago got a corner. La Riviera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abdelhamid Maroc ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Abdelhamid Maroc almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Riviera's El Kensi did a great save. The East Chicago fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when East Chicago's Khair ad-Din Souakri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute, La Riviera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Khair ad-Din Souakri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. El Kensi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khair ad-Din Souakri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, East Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Arrache came free, but Hocine Massi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boudjemaa Khadra took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised El Kensi. El Kensi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Abdelhamid Maroc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but El Kensi was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, La Riviera's Meziane Cherrad got a free kick in the 44th minute. East Chicago's Khair ad-Din Souakri got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Abdelkader Bouteflika made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Khair ad-Din Souakri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Riviera's El Kensi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. El Kensi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by East Chicago's Abdelhamid Maroc. But to his dismay, Abdelhamid Maroc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. East Chicago's Abdelhamid Maroc got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 played minutes La Riviera got a freekick which was hit by Ferhat Belkacem. In the 66th minute Khair ad-Din Souakri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but El Kensi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abdelhamid Maroc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meziane Cherrad came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hocine Massi could save by the left post. In the 74th minute Abdelhamid Maroc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but El Kensi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, La Riviera's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Maroc came free, but El Kensi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, East Chicago's Boudjemaa Khadra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. El Kensi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. El Kensi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hachemi Gaouaoui in the 89th minute of play. El Kensi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhamid Maroc, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. El Kensi came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by East Chicago's Abdelhamid Maroc. But to his dismay, Abdelhamid Maroc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. East Chicago fully deserved thier win.
