Ahmed Amsallem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yazid Aggoune sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Rafik Zoheir Horr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rafik Zoheir Horr fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jersey FC's protests and gave Rafik Zoheir Horr a yellow card for diving instead. Nadir Souakri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from El Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nadir Souakri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, El Abdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Townsend's supporters crossed their fingers, but El Abdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Port Townsend's goalkeeper Ahmed Amsallem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yazid Aggoune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Amsallem having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yazid Aggoune made a kick off. Nadir Souakri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from El Abdi in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Yazid Aggoune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Amsallem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abdelaziz Amri fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Port Townsend's protests and gave Abdelaziz Amri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Port Townsend getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Abdelaziz Amri hit a great ball. Ahmed Amsallem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazid Aggoune, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. El Abdi had several of the Jersey FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Nadir Souakri as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 70 minutes of play Jersey FC's Rafik Zoheir Horr was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 70 played minutes Jersey FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafik Zoheir Horr. After having played for 73 minutes, Ismaël Amara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Townsend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismaël Amara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute El Abdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nadir Souakri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Mouloud Lacarne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ignored Port Townsend's protests and gave Fodil Cohen-Tannoudji a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jersey FC booed when Port Townsend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fodil Cohen-Tannoudji didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yazid Aggoune missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ahmed Amsallem right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Port Townsend eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
