Blanchester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ralston the free kick. The supporters of Ralston booed when Blanchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Houari Allalou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Madhi Bendjedid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Smail Kouidri in the 7th minute of the match. Houari Allalou was shown his second yellow card after 8 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Fathi Benflis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madhi Bendjedid having to interfere. Farid Nabil's late challenge caught a Ralston's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Farid Nabil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismaël Aboulker's late challenge caught a Ralston's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 20th match minute, Blanchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismaël Aboulker to maneuver through the defense. Madhi Bendjedid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fathi Benflis in the 26th minute of play. If Smail Kouidri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralston's Madhi Bendjedid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismaël Aboulker in the 30th minute of play. Madhi Bendjedid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismaël Aboulker in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Blanchester's Fathi Benflis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Madhi Bendjedid made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ali Fellahi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nouredine Fanon made a huge save. Ralston's Noureddine Boulmerka got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Fellahi got free with Nouredine Fanon in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th match minute, Blanchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismaël Aboulker to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Fathi Benflis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blanchester's supporters rose to their feet, but Fathi Benflis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Madhi Bendjedid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Madhi Bendjedid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fathi Benflis in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Smail Kouidri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Madhi Bendjedid. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. Ralston's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fathi Benflis 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Nouredine Fanon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Fellahi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes of play, Ralston's Noureddine Boulmerka made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nouredine Fanon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Madhi Bendjedid was a little too slow when Fathi Benflis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-4. The audience was convinced that Ali Fellahi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nouredine Fanon was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Fathi Benflis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Madhi Bendjedid. That made the score 1-5 in the 79 minute of play. A collision led to Blanchester getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Safy Benflis hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Fellahi in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nouredine Fanon saved Blanchester from getting behind. 94 minutes into the game, Smail Kouidri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Madhi Bendjedid. Smail Kouidri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Blanchester played a much better game than Ralston and deserved their victory. The Ralston players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
