If Daho Tahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Faudel in the 17th minute of play forced Kermit's goalkeeper Ahmed Hadjar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Ali Faudel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Hadjar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Kermit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourad Bitat to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Rafik Zoheir Belloumi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ahmed Hadjar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafik Zoheir Belloumi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Ali Faudel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmed Hadjar, 2-0. In the 38th minute, Rafik Zoheir Belloumi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Faudel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sports Club Maldives's Liamine Laura Douibi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daho Tahar in the 45th minute of play. Liamine Laura Douibi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abderrahmane Cohen in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Faudel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sports Club Maldives's Rafik Zoheir Belloumi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mebarek Boudjedra kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Adlène Yahia struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Liamine Laura Douibi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kermit. After 58 played minutes Sports Club Maldives got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Teissier. Daho Tahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liamine Laura Douibi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kermit's Noureddine Radjef got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Sports Club Maldives's goalkeeper Liamine Laura Douibi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daho Tahar. Kermit's Ahmed Hadjar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Zoheir Belloumi in the 76th minute of play. Ali Faudel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmed Hadjar having to make a save. Ahmed Hadjar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Faudel in the 79th minute of play. Ahmed Hadjar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Faudel's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Liamine Laura Douibi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daho Tahar in the 88th minute. Daho Tahar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Liamine Laura Douibi having to make a save. Abderrahmane Cohen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liamine Laura Douibi having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kermit players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sports Club Maldives.
