Middleburg Heights's Belmadi Sennaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knodi Maroc in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salah Yacine during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was Kader Oussalah who took care of the corner kick. Cricket FC's Kader Oussalah was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Belmadi Sennaoui in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Mansour Saïdi-Sief had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Cricket FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Nekkar came free, but Souad Boulahfane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Cricket FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid Ahmed Adjaoud to maneuver through the defense. Middleburg Heights's Zoheir Sami Yachir shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Souad Boulahfane but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Middleburg Heights's Cheikha Benhamou got a free kick in the 27th minute. Soltani Kourichi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Belmadi Sennaoui having to make a save. Cricket FC's Souad Boulahfane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Nekkar in the 35th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Salah Yacine dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Souad Boulahfane, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karim Nekkar made a kick off. When Cheikha Benhamou fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Middleburg Heights's protests and gave Cheikha Benhamou a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute Karim Nekkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Souad Boulahfane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match Karim Liegeon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Souad Boulahfane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Belmadi Sennaoui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knodi Maroc's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Nekkar in the 89th minute of play forced Cricket FC's goalkeeper Souad Boulahfane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cricket FC's Sid Ahmed Adjaoud got a free kick in the 90th minute. Karim Nekkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th match minute, Cricket FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid Ahmed Adjaoud to maneuver through the defense. Zoheir Sami Yachir was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Middleburg Heights had won after a very even match.
