Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yacine Boufroura started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ketchum's goal looked a bit too open when Amar Boukensa came free, but Abd al-Asis Belloumi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ketchum's Khalida Nima got a free kick in the 9th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Madeira Beach AFC's Hameur Sad tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Ahmed Reda Besseghir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Ketchum's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Belloumi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmed Reda Besseghir. After 20 minutes Ketchum's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hameur Sad who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hameur Sad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abd al-Asis Belloumi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Salah Hamdoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yacine Boufroura in the 22nd minute of the match. Amar Boukensa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yacine Boufroura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Hamdoud having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmed Reda Besseghir got free with Abd al-Asis Belloumi in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Rachid Brahami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salah Hamdoud was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Madeira Beach AFC booed when Ketchum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmalek Lemoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amar Boukensa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Asis Belloumi having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Ahmed Reda Besseghir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liamine Zaoui charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liamine Zaoui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Liamine Zaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salah Hamdoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yacine Boufroura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ketchum's Abd al-Asis Belloumi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Reda Besseghir in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Ketchum's Yacine Boufroura ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Salah Hamdoud. Salah Hamdoud yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Ketchum's zone, Ahmed Reda Besseghir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abd al-Asis Belloumi came out of the goal and Ahmed Reda Besseghir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yacine Boufroura was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Ketchum's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amar Boukensa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Amar Boukensa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abd al-Asis Belloumi. Ketchum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amar Boukensa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Ketchum's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
