The supporters of Las Cruces FC booed when West Laurel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Zidane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Djamel Sami Yachir to make the kick off. Medjadi Horr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cherif Khendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. West Laurel AFC's Medjadi Horr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cherif Khendu in the 83rd minute of play. Djamel Sami Yachir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Mansouri having to interfere. After 87 played minutes, Las Cruces FC's Abd al-Aziz Cohen-Tannoudji shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Medjadi Horr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Las Cruces FC reached it. West Laurel AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Ahmed Reda El Ouafi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cherif Khendu in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Medjadi Horr saved West Laurel AFC from getting behind. Amar Mansouri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamel Sami Yachir in the 96th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
