In the 40th minute Abdelhamid Ali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheb Sifi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes, Mourad Drioueche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CiMBoM and the Clintonville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clintonville's supporters rose to their feet, but Bouzid Timsit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafik Zoheir Mansouri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But to his dismay, Abderrachid Menad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Dida Bezzaz struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Rafik Zoheir Mansouri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clintonville. Clintonville walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
