The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hocine Benida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Kassel Khalef left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ruleville AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. South Chicago Heights FC's Abdelhani Laref got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, South Chicago Heights FC's Rachid Beloufa got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Anther Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. South Chicago Heights FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Ruleville AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
