Manchester United's Sofiane Chaouchi got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Ben Adjani to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Rabah Al-Jazairia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Halimi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Gilles Bessou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mansour Djaout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiane Chaouchi in the 20th minute of the match. Manchester United were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Boyes Hot Springs FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bouzid Azzizi-Kettab took the corner. Sofiane Chaouchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mansour Djaout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manchester United's Hocine Halimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Meriem in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sofiane Chaouchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mansour Djaout was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Mansour Djaout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yahia Nekkar in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Mohammad Ziani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hocine Halimi was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Mansour Djaout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofiane Chaouchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sofiane Chaouchi was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Boyes Hot Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Brahim Mimoun. The Manchester United fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Manchester United's Sofiane Chaouchi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mohamed Ben Adjani kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Rabah Al-Jazairia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Halimi having to interfere. Mohamed Ben Adjani hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Rabah Al-Jazairia struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Hocine Halimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boyes Hot Springs FC. 65 minutes into the match, Hamid Meriem notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Manchester United's Hocine Halimi. Hocine Halimi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Yahia Nekkar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yahia Nekkar couldn't finish the play. Mohammad Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Hocine Halimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Yahia Nekkar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Many of Boyes Hot Springs FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Boyes Hot Springs FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Manchester United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
