Reda Maroc's late challenge caught a Los Marcelitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reda Maroc helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Martinsburg got a freekick which was hit by Reda Maroc. After 16 minutes of play Martinsburg's Reda Maroc was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Los Marcelitos booed when Martinsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reda Maroc didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mouloud Louahla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martinsburg's Rachid Madjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camel Ammour in the 19th minute of play. Ferhat Kourichi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Mouloud Medaci skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los Marcelitos's zone, Ferhat Kourichi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mouloud Medaci came out of the goal and Ferhat Kourichi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Camel Ammour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rachid Madjer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mouloud Louahla went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferhat Kourichi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Los Marcelitos's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhat Kourichi came free, but Mouloud Medaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
