Martha Lake's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rockville Centre the free kick. Rockville Centre's Lakhdar Aziz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Belkhadem in the 14th minute of play. During the 22nd minute of the match Ali Madjer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ali Madjer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ali Madjer kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Rockville Centre's Hachemi El-Hadi in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Mourad Medjoudj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mourad Medjoudj was the one to do the kick off. Rockville Centre's Abdulhamid Bensaoula got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Martha Lake's Souad Bensaoula got a free kick in the 56th minute. A hard shot 65 in the game by Abdulhamid Bensaoula from a close distance when the talented Mohammed Bessou managed to make a qualified save. Martha Lake's players were relieved. Abdulhamid Bensaoula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Martha Lake's supporters rose to their feet, but Mourad Medjoudj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lakhdar Aziz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mohammed Bessou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hachemi El-Hadi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 80 minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Martha Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Souad Bensaoula to maneuver through the defense. Edmond Madjer kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Karim Bouzid, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rockville Centre's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
