Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amar Hadjar started the match with the kick off. Abdelhamid Massi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Abdel Karim Sami Yachir made a huge save. Abdelhamid Massi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Karim Sami Yachir having to interfere. Abdel Karim Sami Yachir made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Abdelhamid Massi sent off a good shot on target. Chakib Mansouri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fawzi Bencheikh. Old Tappan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mohammad Maroc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelhamid Massi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Abdel Karim Sami Yachir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes in the game, Mouloud Medaci fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abdel Karim Sami Yachir having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Mouloud Medaci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sharpsville AFC's Abdel Karim Sami Yachir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Mohammad Maroc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Old Tappan's Fawzi Bencheikh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sharpsville AFC's Amar Hadjar got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sharpsville AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Abdelmalek Benchenaa hit a great ball. Sharpsville AFC's Abdel Karim Sami Yachir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Sharpsville AFC from getting a goal against them. Mouloud Medaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Abdel Karim Sami Yachir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelhamid Massi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abdel Karim Sami Yachir firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Abdelhamid Massi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Old Tappan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelhamid Massi couldn't finish the play. Mouloud Medaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Karim Sami Yachir having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The crowd rose to their feet as Sharpsville AFC's Amar Hadjar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fawzi Bencheikh. That made the score 0-1 after 56 minutes of play. 61 minutes into the match, Sharpsville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Massi came free, but Abdel Karim Sami Yachir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mohamed Hamid fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sharpsville AFC's protests and gave Mohamed Hamid a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sharpsville AFC's Mohamed Hamid got a free kick in the 65th minute. Abdel Karim Sami Yachir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belaid Boutabout, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes, Hachemi Sad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sharpsville AFC and the Old Tappan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Hachemi Sad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mouloud Medaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Karim Sami Yachir having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhamid Massi in the 73rd minute of play forced Sharpsville AFC's goalkeeper Abdel Karim Sami Yachir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mouloud Medaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouloud Medaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sharpsville AFC's zone, Abdelhamid Massi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Karim Sami Yachir came out of the goal and Abdelhamid Massi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Old Tappan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sharpsville AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sharpsville AFC.
