After 11 played minutes Wenatchee got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Boudiaf. Cherif Madjer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasreddine Bensaïd in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wenatchee's Cherif Madjer. Cherif Madjer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nasreddine Bensaïd couldn't finish the play. Wenatchee's Cherif Madjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasreddine Bensaïd in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Nasreddine Bensaïd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cherif Madjer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karim Abdenouz to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Wenatchee's Cheb Nabil got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Carolina Beach FC got a corner. Wenatchee's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmond Amirouche ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edmond Amirouche almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wenatchee's Cherif Madjer did a great save. Cherif Madjer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasreddine Bensaïd in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Mohamed Fillali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wenatchee and the Carolina Beach FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Wenatchee got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Fillali. In the 65th minute Nasreddine Bensaïd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cherif Madjer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Abdenouz in the 68th minute of play forced Carolina Beach FC's goalkeeper Ahmed Beloufa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carolina Beach FC's Nasreddine Bensaïd got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carolina Beach FC's Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wenatchee's goalie prevented a goal. Lazhar Djenia Lkbira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Carolina Beach FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carolina Beach FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
