After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carolina Beach FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sid Kourichi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Nasreddine Bensaïd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sid Kourichi. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Nasreddine Bensaïd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sid Kourichi having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youssef Abbas got free with Sid Kourichi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Carolina Beach FC's Nasreddine Bensaïd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sid Kourichi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rachid Meniri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sid Kourichi. Red Oak's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sid Kourichi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Oak's goalkeeper Sid Kourichi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sid Kourichi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nasreddine Bensaïd's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Red Oak's goalkeeper Sid Kourichi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab. Hocine Brahimi hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sid Kourichi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sid Kourichi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Red Oak's goalkeeper Sid Kourichi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab. Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sid Kourichi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fodil Taha made a kick off. If Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolina Beach FC's Nasreddine Bensaïd got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sid Kourichi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab in the 58th minute of the match. When Carolina Beach FC's Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Oak's goalie prevented a goal. After 59 played minutes Red Oak got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Brahimi. Cheb el Ibrahimi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ahmed Beloufa made a huge save. In the 73rdth minute of the game Nasreddine Bensaïd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Oak's Sid Kourichi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Azzizi-Kettab in the 91st minute of play forced Red Oak's goalkeeper Sid Kourichi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cheb el Ibrahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolina Beach FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
