Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mansour Merzekane in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nasser Kheyari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd match minute, Scarborough AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourad Cherrad to maneuver through the defense. When Mourad Cherrad fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scarborough AFC's protests and gave Mourad Cherrad a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mount Prospect FC booed when Scarborough AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mourad Cherrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Assia Khabatou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Feraoun having to interfere. Mount Prospect FC's Karim Feraoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noureddine Raho in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Mansour Merzekane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasser Kheyari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noureddine Raho to strike the kick off in the second half. Mansour Merzekane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Scarborough AFC's Karim Feraoun threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Noureddine Raho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Assia Khabatou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Karim Feraoun made a huge save. After having played for 77 minutes, Noureddine Raho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarborough AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noureddine Raho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Assia Khabatou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Abderrachid Brahimi came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mount Prospect FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abderrachid Brahimi couldn't finish the play. Nasser Kheyari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mansour Merzekane in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Mount Prospect FC's goal looked a bit too open when Noureddine Raho came free, but Karim Feraoun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mount Prospect FC defense, Noureddine Raho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karim Feraoun. The Mount Prospect FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karim Feraoun should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Scarborough AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
