Billel Feraoun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lakhdar Lamine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salim Ben Khalidi's late challenge caught a Timberlane FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lakhdar Lamine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nadir Kheyari, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The corner ended in Yacine Sad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but REDTAG's Lakhdar Lamine did a great save. In the 28th match minute, REDTAG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salim Ben Khalidi to maneuver through the defense. If Menad Bentifour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Timberlane FC booed when REDTAG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menad Bentifour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Mansouri hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Abd el Kermali acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jean-Baptiste Hammad. Menad Bentifour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Timberlane FC's Bouabdellah Metref got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slimane Daham in the 55th minute of play forced REDTAG's goalkeeper Lakhdar Lamine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Menad Bentifour in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abd el Kermali saved Timberlane FC from getting behind. Nadir Kheyari charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nadir Kheyari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nadir Kheyari hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The tension between the Timberlane FC and the REDTAG players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Jussef Benida from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Lakhdar Lamine's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
