A collision led to Eastgate FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hocine Hadjadj hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Billel Feraoun could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Alain Messaoud however easily saved by the left post. 6 minutes into the match, Timberlane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Assad came free, but Abd el Kermali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Assad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd el Kermali having to interfere. Leon Bouchemla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Timberlane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fadhil Yacef came free, but Abd el Kermali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Robert Assad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastgate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Assad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Timberlane FC booed when Eastgate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehdi Mami didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slimane Daham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Messaoud having to interfere. Slimane Daham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Billel Feraoun during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Billel Feraoun kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alain Messaoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slimane Daham, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Robert Assad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastgate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Assad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute Slimane Daham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Messaoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Alain Messaoud managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Timberlane FC's Billel Feraoun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slimane Daham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Robert Assad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eastgate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Assad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abd el Kermali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Eastgate FC defense, Slimane Daham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alain Messaoud. The Eastgate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alain Messaoud should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the game, one of Timberlane FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Billel Feraoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Messaoud having to interfere. Eastgate FC's Alain Messaoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billel Feraoun in the 74th minute of play. Fadhil Yacef struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Abd el Kermali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eastgate FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Assad got free with Abd el Kermali in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fadhil Yacef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Abd el Kermali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billel Feraoun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alain Messaoud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Eastgate FC got a corner. Timberlane FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehdi Mami ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eastgate FC's Mehdi Mami was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abd el Kermali in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Robert Assad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Abd el Kermali made a huge save.
