Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmed Abdelghani in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamid Merbah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Kermali in the 27th minute of play forced F.C. darlintoa's goalkeeper Hamid Merbah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Bilal's late challenge caught a Westvale AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. El Bilal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, F.C. darlintoa's El Bilal got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Ahmed Abdelghani came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Westvale AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Abdelghani couldn't finish the play. Slimane Horr kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If El Bilal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. With an all-out effort, Westvale AFC's Hamid Merbah threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmed Abdelghani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th minute of the match Karim Achiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamid Merbah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hamid Merbah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Abdelghani, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Westvale AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alain Ibrir hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Houari Bensaoula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. darlintoa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westvale AFC the free kick. The long shot by Alain Ibrir in the 87th minute really tested Hamid Merbah's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. F.C. darlintoa were furious when Houari Bensaoula was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Westvale AFC's Rafik Zoheir Zitouni got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hamid Merbah. Westvale AFC played a much better game than F.C. darlintoa and deserved their victory. The F.C. darlintoa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
