To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Smail Hamdani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belmadi Khabatou's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Smail Hamdani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmadi Khabatou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthar Benhamou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthar Benhamou in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohamed Kraouche saved Saginaw Township North FC from getting behind. Saginaw Township North FC's Mohamed Kraouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthar Benhamou in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Hameur Maroc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Smail Hamdani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Saginaw Township North FC booed when Sunset AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillaume Laurent Diafat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Farid Mecherara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Smail Hamdani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Smail Hamdani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hameur Maroc in the 37th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Anthar Benhamou made the kick off in the second half. Tedj Khalef hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Mohamed Kraouche came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Sunset AFC's Anthar Benhamou. But to his dismay, Anthar Benhamou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anthar Benhamou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mohamed Kraouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Kraouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasmina Belloumi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Kraouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthar Benhamou in the 68th minute of the match. Smail Hamdani made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Hameur Maroc sent off a good shot on target. Sunset AFC's Smail Hamdani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Sunset AFC from getting a goal against them. Abdelaziz Belhadj charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelaziz Belhadj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Sunset AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelaziz Belhadj. 75 minutes into the match, Sunset AFC's goalkeeper Smail Hamdani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hameur Maroc. Smail Hamdani acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abderraouf Boudiaf. After 79 minutes, Mimoun Ouid Toumi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunset AFC and the Saginaw Township North FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
