Romanisti's Cheb Matmour proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Romanisti from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fodil Belkacem in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chaba Arrache saved Crab Orchard AFC from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Crab Orchard AFC's Chakib Brahami nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cheb Matmour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Mohamed Ben Macias put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Chaba Arrache. When Mohamed Ben Macias came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Romanisti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Ben Macias couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Crab Orchard AFC's zone, Yacine Cavalli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chaba Arrache came out of the goal and Yacine Cavalli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Fodil Belkacem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chaba Arrache. Crab Orchard AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fodil Belkacem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Romanisti's Mohamed Ben Macias got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Chakib Brahami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cheb Matmour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Romanisti's Fodil Belkacem in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crab Orchard AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Soltani to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Crab Orchard AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nouara Sellal to maneuver through the defense. After 58 minutes, Chakib Brahami made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Romanisti's Cheb Matmour tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fodil Belkacem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Chaba Arrache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mohamed Ben Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Chaba Arrache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chaba Arrache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fodil Belkacem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodil Belkacem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Chaba Arrache skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Romanisti's Fodil Belkacem got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmed Soltani in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cheb Matmour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Crab Orchard AFC booed when Romanisti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Sam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Soltani took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cheb Matmour. Cheb Matmour dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Fodil Belkacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Chaba Arrache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chakib Brahami came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Crab Orchard AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chakib Brahami couldn't finish the play. The Romanisti fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Romanisti's Fodil Belkacem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Romanisti getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mounir Morceli hit a great ball. Romanisti played a much better game than Crab Orchard AFC and deserved their victory. The Crab Orchard AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
