Romanisti's Mohamed Ben Macias got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohammad Kaci Hima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cheb Matmour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Adjani, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Wernersville FC booed when Romanisti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Maroc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Romanisti's zone, Mohammad Kaci Hima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheb Matmour came out of the goal and Mohammad Kaci Hima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Rachid Mohamed from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Cheb Matmour's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 20 minutes into the match, Romanisti's goal looked a bit too open when Fodil Adjani came free, but Cheb Matmour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Fodil Belkacem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Belkacem in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Fodil Belkacem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romanisti's supporters rose to their feet, but Fodil Belkacem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romanisti's Cheb Matmour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fodil Adjani in the 33rd minute of play. The Romanisti fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Romanisti's Fodil Belkacem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Fodil Belkacem came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Romanisti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fodil Belkacem couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil Belkacem in the 44th minute of play forced Wernersville FC's goalkeeper Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Romanisti booed when Wernersville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chadli Laref didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Wernersville FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Romanisti were winning 0-1.

The corner led Romanisti's Fodil Belkacem to fire away a dangerous shot which Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wernersville FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fodil Belkacem in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohamed Ben Macias struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romanisti. In the 80th minute, Fodil Belkacem fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni, passed just outside the right post. Rachid Mohamed hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wernersville FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ali Saïdi-Sief hit a great ball. Fodil Belkacem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, Wernersville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mansour Ouyahia to maneuver through the defense. Romanisti's Fodil Belkacem got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wernersville FC's goalkeeper Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Fodil Belkacem put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Zīn ud-Dīn Mamouni. When the match was over Romanisti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wernersville FC throughout the match.
