Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rafik Yacef started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rafik Yacef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheb Matmour having to interfere. Cheb Matmour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Yacef in the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Yacine Cavalli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, Lake Elmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Djaout to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Fodil Belkacem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kasdi Belmellat. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 21st minute, Mouloud Djaout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lake Elmo booed when Romanisti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Ben Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fodil Belkacem came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Romanisti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fodil Belkacem couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Rafik Yacef cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cheb Matmour was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, Lake Elmo's goal looked a bit too open when Fodil Belkacem came free, but Kasdi Belmellat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodil Belkacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kasdi Belmellat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fodil Belkacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fodil Belkacem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cheb Matmour came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Lake Elmo's Hicham Labi. But to his dismay, Hicham Labi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Kasdi Belmellat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fodil Belkacem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romanisti's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rafik Yacef 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. After 66 played minutes Romanisti got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Ben Macias. In the 69thth minute of the game Fodil Belkacem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Elmo's Kasdi Belmellat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Fodil Belkacem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kasdi Belmellat was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Abdelnacer Abbas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Elmo's zone, Mohamed Ben Macias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasdi Belmellat came out of the goal and Mohamed Ben Macias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodil Belkacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kasdi Belmellat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Ben Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasdi Belmellat having to interfere. If Hicham Labi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamza Maroc hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Romanisti were awarded a corner. Fodil Belkacem went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Cheb Belmellat managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Romanisti lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
