Jussef Ben Gallaire's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Medjadi Djura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lake Lucerne AFC were furious when Frantz Zemmamouche was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lake Lucerne AFC! Bouabdellah Daham walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Djamel Menguellet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rabah el Ibrahimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Marshall AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bouabdellah Daham. Lake Lucerne AFC's Djamel Menguellet got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Djamel Menguellet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lake Lucerne AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Djamel Menguellet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rabah el Ibrahimi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Marshall AFC's zone, Djamel Menguellet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah el Ibrahimi came out of the goal and Djamel Menguellet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Djamel Menguellet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah el Ibrahimi having to interfere. If Djamel Menguellet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Hakim Badis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Lake Lucerne AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Souad Diafat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medjadi Djura having to interfere. Jussef Ben Gallaire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Medjadi Djura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Souad Diafat in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Medjadi Djura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jussef Ben Gallaire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Medjadi Djura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Jussef Ben Gallaire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Medjadi Djura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lake Lucerne AFC's Medjadi Djura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jussef Ben Gallaire in the 77th minute of play. Medjadi Djura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jussef Ben Gallaire in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Souad Diafat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Medjadi Djura was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lake Lucerne AFC's Medjadi Djura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fouad Boudiaf in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Marshall AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Djamel Menguellet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 93rd minute, Hakim Badis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jussef Ben Gallaire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marshall AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jussef Ben Gallaire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Medjadi Djura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lake Lucerne AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marshall AFC.
