A collision led to Tahiti FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Faouzi Cohen hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Hamid Baroudi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tahiti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th minute, Mouloud Kouidri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamid Baroudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Matoub having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Mouloud Kouidri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tahiti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mouloud Kouidri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayeb Matoub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Tahiti FC were awarded a corner. Hamid Baroudi went to the cornerflag to take it. When Sofiane Bourebbou came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tahiti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sofiane Bourebbou couldn't finish the play. Mehdi Kouri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Hemdani in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Hamid Baroudi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tahiti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Baroudi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sofiane Bourebbou kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tayeb Matoub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamid Baroudi went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sofiane Bourebbou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tayeb Matoub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouloud Kouidri in the 39th minute of the match. Sofiane Ouyahia made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hamid Louahla however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Baroudi in the 45th minute of play forced Gothenburg FC's goalkeeper Tayeb Matoub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gothenburg FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tahiti FC were winning 0-2.

Mouloud Kouidri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamid Baroudi in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayeb Matoub saved Gothenburg FC from getting behind. The Tahiti FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Tahiti FC's Hamid Baroudi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 59 minutes into the match, Mouloud Kouidri notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Gothenburg FC's Tayeb Matoub. Tayeb Matoub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hamid Louahla kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Gothenburg FC's Tayeb Matoub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Gothenburg FC from getting a goal against them. When Sofiane Bourebbou came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Tahiti FC fans jumped to their feet. Hamid Baroudi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tayeb Matoub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Sofiane Bourebbou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamid Baroudi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tayeb Matoub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tahiti FC. Tayeb Matoub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sofiane Bourebbou in the 96th minute. Tahiti FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
