Mohamed Ben Ahmed Hamdoud charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamed Ben Ahmed Hamdoud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Socastee got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Ben Ahmed Hamdoud. 38 minutes into the game, Ahmed Reda Larfaoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Socastee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HiToKaGe FC the free kick. After 38 played minutes Socastee got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Reda Larfaoui. Fawzi Hindi charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fawzi Hindi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Fawzi Hindi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Méniri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mahmoud Zarabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Mustapha Bougherra made a huge save. Ahmed Kourichi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustapha Bougherra made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ali Apap sent off a good shot on target. Ahmed Kourichi struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Nasser Aribi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HiToKaGe FC. Nasser Aribi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Méniri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mahmoud Zarabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mustapha Bougherra was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Mahmoud Zarabi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mahmoud Zarabi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. HiToKaGe FC's Yazid Madani couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Socastee. In the 96th minute, Fawzi Hindi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match Yazid Madani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nasser Aribi skillfully saved the ball. The Socastee supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Socastee would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
