Mahmoud Mansouri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chadli Ammour in the 40th minute of play. Ahmed Zenia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmed Zenia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Smail Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Brahim Boukensa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamid Kader made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brahim Souakri during the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Zenia in the 96th minute of play forced Tullahoma's goalkeeper Mahmoud Mansouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tullahoma's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
