Mansour Bruel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rabah Merah-Benida to make the kick off. Rabah Merah-Benida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mansour Bruel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rabah Merah-Benida's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Abdel Karim Ahmed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mansour Bruel came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Rochester's Rabah Merah-Benida. But to his dismay, Rabah Merah-Benida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rochester were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ROX Tigers for a fine match.
