An unexpectedly hard shot by Camel Belkacem in the 12th minute of play forced Cramerton's goalkeeper Chadli Toumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cramerton's supporters rose to their feet, but Amar Larbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Houari Khelaifia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlanta United's goalkeeper Houari Khelaifia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mohamed Achiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Achiu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Camel Belkacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Houari Khelaifia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Achiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Houari Khelaifia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Achiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
