Atlanta United's Camel Belkacem got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Cheb Mansouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Houari Cohen-Tannoudji kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Abd al-Aziz Temmam didn't quite understand what happened when in the 27 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Abdelhamid Temmam had several of the Atlanta United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Houari Khelaifia as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Abdelhamid Temmam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camel Belkacem was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Abdelhamid Temmam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Houari Khelaifia was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Rachid Baba Ali Djeziri kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Abd al-Aziz Temmam was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Rachid Medjoudj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlanta United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Medjoudj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdelhamid Temmam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rachid Baba Ali Djeziri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Hameur Yacine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Camel Belkacem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abd al-Aziz Assad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelhamid Temmam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Hameur Yacine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Houari Khelaifia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hameur Yacine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Houari Khelaifia came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Kutztown's Hameur Yacine. But to his dismay, Hameur Yacine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Abdelhamid Temmam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kutztown fully deserved thier win.
