Mohammed Benhamou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhamid Temmam, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yacine Zafour in the 19th minute of play forced Kutztown's goalkeeper Abd al-Aziz Assad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. South Chicago Heights's Abdelmalek Zidane got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amine Bensaoula fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kutztown's protests and gave Amine Bensaoula a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kutztown getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Amine Bensaoula hit a great ball.
