Mahmoud Kerkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Faudel having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Fremont AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Nabil came free, but Salim Bouguerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boca Pointe AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hakim El-Hadi was slow to take the kick. During this time Fremont AFC's players had a chance to rest. Hakim El-Hadi made a great header on Fremont AFC's corner, it was just that Boca Pointe AFC's Ahmed Faudel managed to reach the ball for a save. 29 minutes into the game, Mustapha Fadela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Boca Pointe AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meziane Bendjedid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salim Bouguerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meziane Bendjedid's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Mahmoud Kerkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ahmed Faudel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mahmoud Kerkar made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Mahmoud Kerkar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Faudel was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. If Meziane Bendjedid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Faouzi Aboulker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fremont AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boca Pointe AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fremont AFC.
