Amherst's Ahmed Bilal got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelhamid Mamouni's late challenge caught a Amherst's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelhamid Mamouni helped the player get up and apologised. Mustapha Bouazza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 23 minutes into the game, Ahmed Bilal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Madjid Zidane. Ahmed Bilal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Madjid Beloufa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Baba Ali Hamruche, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mohamed Brahimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Madjid Beloufa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madjid Beloufa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Brahimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Amherst were furious when Rabah Radjef was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. If Mohammad Reda Madouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 72nd minute of the match Abdelhamid Mamouni completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Abdelhamid Mamouni a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Baba Ali Hamruche got free with Madjid Beloufa in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Rachid Baba Ali Hamruche fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Mustapha Bouazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Manchester United's Rachid Baba Ali Hamruche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Madjid Beloufa narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
