Mustapha Bouazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lili Djebar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amherst's Madjid Beloufa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Amherst from getting a goal against them. Rabah Hadj Aïssa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Madjid Beloufa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rabah Hadj Aïssa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madjid Beloufa having to interfere. Madjid Beloufa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rabah Hadj Aïssa in the 20th minute. Rabah Hadj Aïssa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Madjid Beloufa made a huge save. Madjid Beloufa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Moussa in the 26th minute of play. Rabah Hadj Aïssa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31stth minute of the game Ismael Moussa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amherst's Madjid Beloufa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Amherst's zone, Rabah Hadj Aïssa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madjid Beloufa came out of the goal and Rabah Hadj Aïssa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Bilal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mustapha Bouazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amherst's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustapha Bouazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lili Djebar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmed Bilal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lili Djebar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Ismael Moussa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madjid Beloufa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Bilal to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Amherst booed when Sparlingville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahmoud Bourebbou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lili Djebar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Bilal in the 54th minute of the match. Karim Saïdi-Sief hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Mustapha Bouazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Lili Djebar made a huge save. Mahmoud Bourebbou hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Amherst's Karim Saïdi-Sief got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Rabah Hadj Aïssa took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Madjid Beloufa. Madjid Beloufa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. There was no doubt that Sparlingville FC were the better team. Sparlingville FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
