After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Abdelmalek Matoub managed to get in a good position for a shot. VASTONE's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelmalek Matoub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faouzi Teissier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelmalek Matoub in the 14th minute of play forced Plymouth Meeting AFC's goalkeeper Faouzi Teissier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kamel Adjani during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Plymouth Meeting AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Adjani. The supporters of VASTONE booed when Plymouth Meeting AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamel Adjani didn't get a good kick on the ball. VASTONE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abdelmalek Matoub in the 20th minute. A nice corner shot did that Abdelmalek Matoub got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Faouzi Teissier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Walid Khadra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nouredine Zaaboub in the 22nd minute. Hameur Zahouania hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Plymouth Meeting AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelmalek Matoub came free, but Faouzi Teissier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Plymouth Meeting AFC's zone, Boudjemaa Benbitour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faouzi Teissier came out of the goal and Boudjemaa Benbitour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, Plymouth Meeting AFC's Nouredine Zaaboub nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walid Khadra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. El Hadjadj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walid Khadra having to interfere. Ismaïl Soltani's late challenge caught a VASTONE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismaïl Soltani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Ismaïl Soltani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VASTONE's Walid Khadra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save VASTONE from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Abdelmalek Matoub had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faouzi Teissier. Plymouth Meeting AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelmalek Matoub was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nouredine Zaaboub to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Plymouth Meeting AFC's goalkeeper Faouzi Teissier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boudjemaa Benbitour. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Yahi in the 56th minute of play forced Plymouth Meeting AFC's goalkeeper Faouzi Teissier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Boudjemaa Benbitour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boudjemaa Benbitour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Faouzi Teissier made a huge save. After some careless play in the Plymouth Meeting AFC defense, Ahmed Yahi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faouzi Teissier. The Plymouth Meeting AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faouzi Teissier should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelmalek Matoub in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faouzi Teissier saved Plymouth Meeting AFC from getting behind. If Ahmed Yahi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th play minute Boudjemaa Benbitour came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Faouzi Teissier. 1-3. Boudjemaa Benbitour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faouzi Teissier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Abdelmalek Matoub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Plymouth Meeting AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Benaouf to maneuver through the defense. Abdelmalek Matoub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. VASTONE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
