After a defensive mix-up in Westminster South FC's zone, Mahieddine Amara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Djamel Banouas came out of the goal and Mahieddine Amara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Abd al-Aziz Yahi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westminster South FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abd al-Aziz Yahi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fawzi Merah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abd al-Aziz Yahi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzi Merah having to interfere. Fawzi Merah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halim Bencherif, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Westminster South FC's Abd al-Aziz Yahi in 37 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mansour Akrour in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Djamel Banouas saved Westminster South FC from getting behind. Mansour Akrour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Djamel Banouas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
