Hocine Mihoubi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofiane Benbitour, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Gering booed when Drugstore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Lamine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dida Kourichi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Mouloud Camus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drugstore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mouloud Camus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sofiane Benbitour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gering's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofiane Benbitour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hocine Mihoubi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dida Kourichi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mouloud Camus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ahmed Ibrir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Sofiane Benbitour left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gering fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 68th minute, Larbi Mammeri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofiane Benbitour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Mihoubi having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Dida Kourichi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Lakhdar Cherfa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gering's Ismaïl Benida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hocine Mihoubi. That made the score 0-4 after 94 minutes of play. The Drugstore FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gering were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
