Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Muhammad Lacen got the match started through his kick off. Muhammad Lacen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Muhammad Lacen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Bendjedid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menad Djeballi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ahmed Bendjedid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Lacen in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Channelview's Tayeb Larbi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zoheir Teissier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Menad Djeballi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Elk Grove Village fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Menad Djeballi couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Bendjedid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Lacen, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The Channelview players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elk Grove Village were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tayeb Larbi to strike the kick off in the second half. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmed Bendjedid, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muhammad Lacen in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmed Bendjedid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elk Grove Village played a much better game than Channelview and deserved their victory. The Channelview players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
