Bellingham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelkader Metref was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Abdelkader Metref was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 16thth minute of the game Mohamed Hadjadj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bellingham's Ahmed Menguellet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Tayeb Barbarossa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Hindi in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nordine Zidane saved Marceline from getting behind. Salim Ouadah hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Mimoun Ouid Dahleb shot from long distance in the 25th minute, but Ahmed Menguellet was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Nordine Zidane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Sadmi in the 28th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes, Bellingham's Jean Sam shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nordine Zidane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bellingham reached it. Rachid Madjer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Hamid Sadmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bellingham's goalkeeper Ahmed Menguellet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohamed Hadjadj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Menguellet having to interfere. Abdelkader Metref succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 47th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamed Hadjadj to make the kick off. The supporters of Marceline booed when Bellingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Ouadah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Menguellet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Hadjadj, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkader Metref in the 63rd minute of play forced Bellingham's goalkeeper Ahmed Menguellet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bellingham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Sadmi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nordine Zidane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Sadmi in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Ali Hindi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmed Menguellet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelkader Metref, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bellingham players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marceline.
