Sullivan City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Redha Sifi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camel Madouni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Willimantic's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Reda Madouni came free, but Jussef Kraouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sullivan City's Redha Sifi got control of the ball when Daniel Hamdani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Sullivan City's goal looked a bit too open when Camel Madouni came free, but Redha Sifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willimantic's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Hamdani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Redha Sifi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sullivan City's Redha Sifi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Sullivan City from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sullivan City's Rachid Taha got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Camel Madouni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Redha Sifi was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Redha Sifi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Hamdani went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Willimantic were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Sullivan City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yazid Yacef took the corner. The corner ended in Yazid Yacef almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sullivan City's Redha Sifi did a great save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camel Madouni made a kick off. Daniel Hamdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Redha Sifi having to interfere. Rachid Taha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jussef Kraouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Sullivan City's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Hamdani came free, but Redha Sifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Hamdani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Daniel Hamdani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Hakim Bencherif fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Willimantic's protests and gave Hakim Bencherif a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sullivan City booed when Willimantic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakim Bencherif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willimantic's Daniel Hamdani got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camel Madouni struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Redha Sifi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Willimantic. Willimantic's Jussef Kraouche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Willimantic from getting a goal against them. Willimantic's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
